A: It’s really up to you and your organization’s goals and commitment.

It’s not possible to give you an accurate average since phone models are constantly changing, and there is no way to predict which models will be collected during your drive. Our Price List is updated regularly, and Cell Funds pays the maximum allowable payout based on market conditions.

Q: What happens to the cell phones that are given to Cell Funds?

A: If a phone cannot be refurbished for secondary markets, Cell Funds will properly recycle it in accordance with state and federal EPA guidelines.

Batteries and accessories are recycled in accordance with state and federal EPA guidelines.

Q: Do we have to separate the phones and keep any inventory?

A: No. Cell Funds will sort the phones for you at our facility. If you can fit them in the box, we’ll handle the rest.

Q: How can I find out what model my phone is?

A: Remove the back cover from your phone and remove the battery. You will see an I.D. tag on the phone. The phone model number will be located on that tag.

Q: Are phone donations tax deductible?
